On June 23, 2022, the Department of Enterprise Registration and Management, led by Mrs. Vongpadit Vongsavat, Deputy Director General of the Department of Enterprise Registration and Management, together with a secretariat responsible for compiling an overview of business accounts that require approvals from relevant sectors and experts to improve the business license issuance process held discussions held discussions with the Director General, Deputy Director General and technical team from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport with the primary objective of streamlining the business license issuance process. The meeting addressed the following agenda:
- Engaging in an in-depth discussion to simplify and refine the process of issuing business licenses by reducing steps and eliminating unnecessary documentation.
- Establishing a comprehensive list of businesses that require a business license.
- Improving business lists, including the controlled list, conditional list, and reserved list within the scope of related sectors. Ongoing cooperation with these sectors will continue to ensure completeness and effectiveness.
