| Qualifications needed by the business to get the formality |
It shall have a registered capital as follow:
• For Lao investors (100%), they shall have a registered capital of 4 billion LAK or lower (The license is not needed)
• For foreign investors, they shall have a registered capital of:
- a registered capital from 20 billion LAK, 100% foreign equity participation;
- a registered capital from 4 to less than 20 billion LAK, shall join venture with the domestic investor as conditions below:
a registered capital from 10 to less than 20 billion LAK, foreign equity participation up to 70%.
a registered capital from 4 to less than 10 billion Kip, foreign equity participation up to 50%.
